• Provide resources for learning about & developing water system management plans.\"
Properly functioning water systems are essential components of safe work environments, especially in facilities with complicated water usage such as manufacturing and health care. Microbial growth in water systems can adversely affect drinking water and product quality, and create airborne hazards for workers and occupants. This presentation will focus on conditions that amplify microbial growth, especially Legionella, and methods of water management to reduce risk. The topics of discussion align with CDC guidelines and industry standards (ASHRAE 188) on managing risk from Legionella bacteria. We will encourage and appreciate your participation regarding your experiences on this topic during the presentation.
