Mr. Hamper began his career at the United States Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 working in the RCRA Hazardous Waste Program for nearly 5 years. Since entering environmental consulting, he as worked in a wide variety of environmental programs including RCRA, Superfund, Underground Storage Tanks, TSCA/PCB, Oil Pollution Act, state remediation programs, state enforcement programs and emergency response. Over the years since leaving the EPA, Mr. Hamper has been involved in RCRA hazardous permitting, corrective action, closure, compliance, enforcement and training projects for industry.

3. Learn the how to manage hazardous waste as an VSQG, SQG and an LQG
Initial training in hazardous waste management as well as annual refresher training is required by Illinois hazardous waste regulations. This session will cover a wide range of generator responsibilities including waste characterization and on-site management. Experienced as well as folks new to hazardous waste management can expect relevant, Illinois-focused training for hazardous waste generators. Training certificates provided upon request.
