Harry “Hap” Hileman has been the IL Dept of Labor’s On-Site Marketing/Outreach Coordinator since August of 2020. Hap started with IDOL in 2018 as an IL OSHA Safety Inspector. Before IDOL, Hap Hileman was a Safety Specialist with the IL Army National Guard and a private industrial tank manufacturer. Hap has served in the U.S. military since 1994, holding diverse duty assignments from a Navy Seabee to the United States Transportation Command. He received his master’s degree from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He lives and works in Springfield, IL.
