Kevin Rader is an experienced leader with a strong background in technical operations and safety management. He began his career as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy, serving as a Division Officer aboard the USS Montpelier and Engineering Training Director at Naval Submarine Training Center Pacific. Since joining Argonne in 2019, he has held roles in Electrical Safety, Radiological Operations, Occupational Safety, and Deployed Safety Services. Kevin earned a B.S. in Meteorology from Embry-Riddle and holds credentials in nuclear engineering, as well as certifications in electrical safety, project management, sustainability, and behavioral economics.
